Introducing our new charities for 2025 and 2026

After hearing from the team about who they wanted to support, we have chosen two local charities. One near our Ashby office, and one near our Derby office to help promote our presence there.
For 2025 and 2026, we will be supporting the Canine Partners, based in Osgathorpe, and Derby Kids Camp, based in Derby!
The Canine Partners provide assistance dogs to adults with physical disabilities. They also partner with Help for Heroes and provide assistance dogs
for veterans and those wounded in service.
The dogs are trained in skills such as opening and closing doors, unloading washing machines, picking up dropped items, helping with getting dressed, and they can even use atm machines!
The charity has lot of opportunities to enable to us work together including, feel good doggy sessions, volunteering days, as well as puppy sponsorship!

Derby Kids Camp provide summer holidays to over 300 of Derby’s disadvantagedchildren every year during the summer holidays.
They set up a canvas village in Whetton, Derbyshire, and each week receive a new wave of kids who are ready to have some fun! The children who are nominated for camp holidays face a variety of challenges from poverty to social interaction difficulties, or may even be carers themselves. The camp provides a safe space to make friends, experience new activities, and have fun! Derby Kids Camp is 100% volunteer ran with each holiday costing around £245.

Access a free GP Service:
You can use the Smart Health service provided by Fishers to access a GP over the phone 24/7.
They can write prescriptions, make referrals and you can also seek a second opinion. The platform is available to staff, their partners and children under 21 living with them. It also provides mental health and wellbeing services.
