Protecting Buyers - Fishers Dewes Offer Insurance Policy to Protect Home Buyers
Fishers Dewes understand that moving home can be one of the most stressful not to mention expensive events of a persons life. Today more than ever, the process of moving home requires a significant capital outlay where purchasers will pay for searches, survey fee, broker fees and lender administration fees often up front. Fishers Dewes are now able to offer a protection policy which is new to the market as there has been no easy or affordable way of protecting this initial outlay in the unfortunate event that the purchase does not proceed to completion.
When instructing Fishers Dewes to act on your behalf in connection with the purchaser of a property a buyer can elect the Buyer Protect Option for an additional £55.00 plus VAT which can protect some of the associated costs you will incur when purchasing a property so that should the transaction fall through, Fishers Clients will have peace of mind that certain out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. The Scheme could reimburse for the following:-
- Up to £500.00 in non-refundable, mortgage lender arrangement fees, broker fees, product and booking fees.
- Up to £750.00 in valuation fees (Homebuyer, Structural surveys etc)
- Up to £800.00 in Solicitors fees and disbursement costs
That’s up to £2,050.00 that could be returned in the unfortunate event that the matter does not proceed.
