Ian is a Director and Solicitor with substantial expertise dealing with all aspects of commercial property work. In particular he specialises in commercial and agricultural property.

Experience

Ian has significant experience advising on development projects including dealing with options, promotion agreements and overage agreements.

His experience also includes advising both commercial landlords and tenants, advising trustees on transactions involving trusts and properties held in trust, and property finance and pension fund transactions.

 

Achievements

Ian acts for a former PLC, dealing with all legal matters in respect of their portfolio of properties across the United Kingdom, including a number of high value sale transactions and development projects.

He currently acts for a local council and has previously acted for a variety of central government and local government departments, fire authorities and police authorities.

Ian has acted for many years for a pension fund provider, advising on a variety of self-invested personal pension (SIPP) transactions.

He has also acted for local landowners on promotion agreements with developers for residential housing.
