Andrew’s proactive yet pragmatic approach allows him to bring many of his cases to a swift conclusion without a need for court litigation.

Achievements

Andrew successfully concluded Financial Remedy Proceedings for a majority Shareholder and Director of a business worth several million pounds where there were significant issues both in terms of business valuation and liquidity to fund settlement.

Andrew successfully negotiated compromise of case on behalf of the spouse of a majority Director/Shareholder for a multi-million pound business through large lump sum Order and ongoing term maintenance. He had earlier, successfully argued at court for significantly enhanced interim maintenance award and for a judge’s direction for an independent business valuation.

He has advised clients in respect of marital estates involving significant complex trust holdings together with significant company and personal assets.

Andrew assisted a couple with mediation to resolve the financial/property aspects of their divorce. He was able to help them reach an agreement within a period of weeks. They had been unable to secure agreement via solicitors over a period in excess of 2 years.

He successfully negotiated terms on behalf of a mother for removal of children from the UK jurisdiction in circumstances where the father had initially vehemently opposed such a move.

Andrew advised a lady client on the preparation of a detailed Pre-Nuptial Agreement protecting property prior to her marriage. He subsequently advised the same client on ensuring that the terms of the Pre-Nuptial Agreement were upheld by the court on divorce some time afterwards.

He successfully assisted a husband in a contested financial claim on divorce where a large part of the assets had been taken into the marriage and received as part of a personal injury compensation award.
