Commercial & Contract Disputes
Unfortunately most businesses end up in conflict at some point during their trading life. Whether it is an argument over whose obligation it is to effect repairs under the terms of a lease or bringing a claim where a business has suffered loss through another’s negligence- our partners and solicitors are able to act for you in a range of matters.
Fishers are aware of the potential cost to a client in terms of finance and time if a dispute ends up in court. Great emphasis is therefore placed on providing a solution without the need to progress to trial, in order to keep these costs to a minimum.
Doubtless that your objective will be to resolve any issue as quickly and effectively as possible. We can guide and advise you on any process. We will talk to you about the best way forward for you and your business bearing in mind what you want to achieve.
Our experienced team can act for you on any of the following (these are examples only and the list is by no means exhaustive)
• Contractual disputes
• Sale and supply of goods and services
• Professional negligence
• Partnership and shareholder disputes
• Disputes relating to property ownership or occupation
• Intellectual property disputes.
Debt Recovery
Fishers Solicitors are pleased to be able to offer you two alternative ways of helping you to recover a debt owed to you. Our debt recovery specialist can actively pursue your debt through the Courts on your behalf to recover money owed. Alternatively our debt recovery specialist can provide training to your credit control team in order for you to sue debtors yourself.
