At Fishers we understand that as a landlord you are running a business, whether you are simply renting one house or have a large portfolio of properties. A bad tenant is not good for business. Fishers offer an efficient service to enable you to regain possession of your property as quickly as possible to keep your financial losses to a minimum.

Our specialist advisors will discuss with you the best course of action available to you, looking at your individual needs. A draft Notice of Possession can be served upon the tenant. If necessary, Fishers will issue a possession claim at court and represent you at any court hearings to obtain a possession order and judgement for rent arrears and/or costs.

If the tenant does not vacate your property by the date ordered Fishers will apply for a Warrant of Possession to request the court bailiff take physical possession of your property and attempt to recover any monies ordered to be paid to you.

Fixed fees are available for possession claims provided they are not defended.

Please note that if proceedings are issued for rent areas in any court other than Burton on Trent County Court we may need to make additional charge for travel time to the court. If you are successful the court fee and small fixed amount for costs is recoverable from the tenant.
